Robotics Club
Robotics Club
Welcome to the Robotics Club, where technology seamlessly integrates into our daily lives, and the utilisation of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions is more vital than ever. In a world where automation and robotic systems are revolutionising industries, our club offers an exciting platform for students who are intrigued by the potential of robots and their role in enhancing everyday life.
Using the LEGO MINDSTORM and SPIKE Prime sets alongside the approach grounded in Design Thinking, a methodology that fosters creativity and innovation, to guide our students to develop practical and meaningful solutions for the challenges our society faces. We believe in harnessing the power of robotics to address real-world problems, making daily life more efficient and enjoyable for others.
Being a part of the Robotics Club means more than just tinkering with robots; it means developing a profound understanding of emerging technologies, honing your problem-solving skills, and experiencing hands-on learning that prepares you for the challenges of the 21st century.
So, whether you're an aspiring engineer, a budding programmer, or simply someone curious about the world of robotics, we invite you to be a part of our vibrant community, where technology, creativity, and STEM education converge to create a brighter future.
Training Plan
Sec 1: Developing Foundations
Sec 1 members will start by developing their foundational robotics skills through instructor coaching, mentorship by seniors and participating in Robotics competitions under the guidance of their seniors.
Sec 2: Specialisation
By Sec 2, members would have probably identified the area of specialisation that they would like to focus on after getting a feel for robotics across multiple fields. During this phase, members will participate in competitions according to their area of specialisation and potential exco members will be identified. Potential exco members will be tasked to shadow exco members as they carry out their exco duties.
Sec 3: Specialisation
In Sec 3, members can either continue developing in their area of expertise or seek to expand their skill sets by branching out into other areas. During this phase, members will be tasked to lead a team on their own. New incoming exco members will be appointed to replace out-going Sec 4 exco members at the end of Term 2.
Sec 4 and 5: Mentorship
By Sec 4s/5s, they will be in charge of mentoring club juniors in preparation for their competitions and exco duties. Sec 4 members will officially step down from the CCA at the end of Term 2.

Innovation, Design and Engineering (IDE) Challenge
The challenge is a national technology and engineering competition event that aims to challenge students in problem solving across domains such as electronics, programming, and mechanical design. These challenges emphasise on innovativeness, design elements and engineering and these remain at the heart of the competition. The robotics club participated in 3 out of the 7 events and attained the following accolades:
